Center for Psychological Science

The Center for Psychological Science serves as the central hub for learning and research within the psychology department.

What We Do

The Center for Psychological Science provides dedicated resources and facilities designed to enhance both the academic and practical aspects of psychological study. The center features specialized classrooms that support a variety of learning and research activities, including group projects, collaborative student-faculty meetings and independent study. Students and faculty can engage in hands-on research by conducting interviews, survey studies and psychological experiments.

Additionally, the center offers designated spaces for analysis, discussions and presentations, ensuring that students are well-prepared for both academic and professional careers in psychology. The collaborative environment encourages critical thinking and innovation, fostering the development of skills essential to the field.

Paul LoCasto, professor of psychology and chair of the department of psychology, is the director of the center.
